GET TO KNOW
Dr. Joni Osborn has been involved in the wellness community since 1988. She studied Nutrition Science at Montclair State University in New Jersey, then followed that up working as a personal trainer and health coach. In 2010, Joni knew she wanted to combine her passions and to delve more deeply into the world of holistic wellness, specifically for women’s health. After experiencing the healing and life changing effects of East Asian medicine, Joni realized this was the how to her what. Along with earning her Doctorate in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, out of Chicago and San Diego, she has gone on to become a Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Practitioner and Freedom Coach. In 2019, Joni began traveling to Bali, Costa Rica, and Vancouver, BC as an acupuncturist and speaker.
Joni brings her unique insight into many of the issues that are of concern in today’s population. She has a great appreciation for the collaboration between East and West.
Before returning to her home state of Maryland, Joni worked as a lead acupuncturist in Chicago with a group of large integrative clinics, collaborating with chiropractors, functional medicine doctors, massage therapists, and other acupuncturists. She then moved to Colorado and opened her own practice, working once again in an integrative environment with practitioners from around the state. Joni specializes in women’s health – fertility, longevity, hormonal health, and cosmetic acupuncture – emotional health, autoimmune disorders, and pain management.
Joni is an advocate for intentional lifestyle design and is passionate about helping her clients experience their highest quality of life.
Her greatest passion is leading people to a place where they can experience the freedom to be who they are and live the life they want to live. She uses acupuncture, her coaching skills, and intuitive life experience to facilitate physical and emotional healing, so that her patients can move forward to enjoy the deeper things – passion, play, and purpose!
When she’s not working, Joni loves the outdoors, especially the beach. She enjoys working out with kettlebells, hiking, cycling, yoga, and has recently returned to surfing. She is a published writer and avid reader, and loves travel, and interior design. She believes that laughter is an important part of any health regime and enjoys a good, philosophical discussion with friends.
